SY-Glyster / Polyglycerol Fatty Acid Esters
Polyglycerol fatty acid esters have been used in a variety of applications since they were approved as food additives in 1981. SY-Glyster, originally developed product by us, is highly appreciated by many of our customers as an excellent ingredient for whipped cream, coffee whitener, margarine, shortening, chocolate, milk beverage, and functional fats and oils. SY-Glyster is polyglycerol fatty acid esters produced by esterification of highly refined polyglycerol and fatty acids. By combining the degree of polymerization, type of fatty acid, and degree of esterification of polyglycerol, we offer products with a wide range of HLB*, from hydrophilic to lipophilic.

Generally, high-HLB products should be added to water and low-HLB products to oil. Both products are uniformly dissolved or dispersed when heated to 60 ~ 70°C. High-viscosity liquid products can be easily taken out from the container by heating to 60 ~ 70°C.
